I posted this blog this just exactly on my son’s 3rd birthday, when I reflected back the time since he was born until today. 3 years time when I and my wife learned to be a parent, to love and take care of our baby and at the same time learn to put aside our selfishness and try to give our best effort to raise him up. That reflection really touched our heart and even my wife had tears in her eyes.
That’s why I always excited to shoot traditional weddings because of the series of event that symbolize the relationship between the parent and their son/ daughter. It will always be an emotional one for both of them and now I can understand the depth of the feeling involved on those ceremonies.
When we see the picture of Dhimas and Mega, we also can see how strong is the love in this two big family. Not to mention the love between the couple, but also the love from the parent to their son and daughter. There were tears in their eyes to see their son and daughter that used to be their little baby in their arms and now is becoming a mature man and woman that ready to enter their new life. It must be a mixture feeling between sad – because they have to let go off them to create their new family- and happiness – simply because they see them happy to find the love of their life.
I believe the every parent must have that feeling on their child’s wedding and it’s my team’s job to ensure that the moment was beautifully captured in our camera. I think we have done it very well this time…. Just check it out!!
After a modern and retro pre-wedding in Hauwkee, we are now back again to Fikar and Tania for their Siraman and Akad Nikah. Both of them are a young executives who usually live in a high pace and modern daily life, but they put aside all of that for their big day and back to the beautiful tradition that has bound them since they were born.
The ceremony was very beautiful, with the combination from Minang and Sundanese tradition. And we also can capture the emotional touch from the bride, groom, parents and also the audience. It was totally an awesome day!! These are our best shots of the day…
We met Dhimas and Mega on an exhibition where they talk and feel comfortable with us and immediately choose us to be their wedding photographer. I still remember how I also feel comfortable with this lovely couple and hoping they will choose us to be their partner for their wedding. Thanks God they finally did..:)
To celebrate their love, Dhimas and Mega has held 3 days celebration for their wedding start from Pengajian, Siraman and Malam Midodaren for day 1, Akad Nikah for Day 2 and Reception for Day 3. I really admire to see that the 3 days event with the complication of culture was well prepared by the big family. Eventhough these 3 days was so tiring for our team especially to compile all files and prepare the SDE, but we are also very satisfied to see the beautiful wedding, rich with the culture, rich with love, and warmth by the joy of the big family and friends.
Congratulation to Dhimas and Mega!! Happy and proud to be the witness of the Javanese Traditional Wedding. Sweet and Elegant!! Enjoy our SDE presented on their reception on 23 September 2012 🙂
This is our “Motion Picture” for Fikar and Metha about their engagement and the pre-wedding session. We are very proud when the “Motion Picture” was played in their wedding in Bidakara on last Saturday and the most important thing, their big family love it very much!! :). We first met Kalia big family when we shoot the wedding of Safina (Fikar’s eldest sister). Started there, we knew that we have the chemistry with this big lovely family. They are very warm and also humble, therefore we really enjoy our photo session (starting pre-wedding, lamaran, siraman, akad nikah, malam midodareni and off course the wedding day)
And now we’re back to this family again, to shoot the engagement of Fikar and Metha. We are very happy that they trust us again for this important moment. The session is full of joy and happiness between the two big family. Many beautiful moment captured in our shot… We can feel that the love is surrounding them. 🙂
I always feel excited on every traditional wedding shooting, where I always find a uniqueness on every wedding. The more I shoot traditional wedding, the more I love my country because the richness of the culture. This is one of the astonishing traditional wedding that reflect the richness of the javanese culture. Everytime we shoot the traditional wedding, the more we appreciate the variety of culture in our beloved country. Beside that, the couple was very charming and therefore our picture became fantastic.
